16 August 2010. New build Lyd sits in Rhiw Goch loop on test whilst Merddin Emrys passes with a service train (photo - Dave Thurlow) 23 August 2010. 1 August 2010. The completed Pickering replica carriage for the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway departs Minffordd yard (photo - Chris Jones) 14 August 2010. 6 August 2010. Pretty in pink - Upnor Castle's rebuild continues in the erecting shop 6 August 2010. Two of the newest steam engines in the world - Taliesin, from 1999 sits on the pit in the background, with Lyd (2010) in the foreground. Diesel Criccieth Castle is the elder statesman, dating from 1996, all constructed at Boston Lodge. Lilla completes the scene of locos spanning two centuries 6 August 2010. 2 August 2010. A line up of bogies and parts for FR carriages, being constructed for 121 and a spare pair, funded by the Ffestiniog Railway Society 2 August 2010. The new monoblock piston valve steamchest and cylinder casting for Taliesin is being machined 6 August 2010. Merddin Emrys adds to the heritage scene outside the old engine shed by bringing vintage carriages past the disc signal 6 August 2010.
