On Sunday November 11th 2018 at 3pm., a newly-constructed war memorial, funded by the Railway Heritage Trust, was unveiled at Tan y Bwlch Station to commemorate the sacrifices made by FRCo employees. There was a short service of remembrance on site, and a display of items of rolling stock that saw service on the Western Front.

REMINDER – JOIN THE RAILWAY VOLUNTEERS 27 & 28 APRIL
The recruitment weekend will be taking place very shortly but it’s not too late to join in. Remember this is your chance to find out what you can do for the railway as a volunteer and why people enjoy it so much.
We will need to know if you want to come on the Saturday or the Sunday. You will need to wear stout shoes or boots as in places the ground surfaces at Boston Lodge and Minffordd Yard are uneven and, as we can never guarantee good weather, it is probably wise to bring waterproofs. Refreshments including a sandwich lunch will be provided.
To register your interest and obtain an application form please email email@example.com We look forward to meeting you. Howard Wilson

Tonight I’ll be escaping London by train to Snowdonia for Easter, like millions of others have done for generations. So, today's vintage travel poster is this by Charles H Baker for the London, Midland & Scottish Railway - 1923.
