At the end of November/early December, there has been substantial clearance of trees on land adjoining Tan y Bwlch station, on the high side of the line.
Visit Tan y Bwlch Tea Room to see and sample the wares, open until the end of the year Thursday to Sunday.
With the natural lack of foliage in the winter months, the view down to Llyn Mair is very clear.
