Friday 1st May
Welcome in Spooner’s. Please collect your AGM tickets between 16.00 and 19.00.
We hope to have a couple of visiting engines at the station for you to see.
Iain McCall is publishing a Blanche book to raise funds for her overhaul. This will be available to buy in the shop.
Saturday 2nd May
This year the AGM special train* is travelling to Tan y Bwlch with Prince & Victorian bogie carriages. The train departs at 1155, returning at 1435, arriving back to Port at 15.12.
You will have time to enjoy the very special place that is Tan y Bwlch, wander down to Llyn Mair or just sit and listen to the birdsong. Alan Norton will be able to show you Station House and the amazing work completed so far. We hope to be able to let the cottage later in the year.
Sandra has a wonderful “Victorian Afternoon Tea”* which you need to pre-book.
There are also gravity trains running over the weekend.
If you wish to travel to Blaenau on the Mountain Spirit please book on the website or at the booking office.
In Porthmadog we have hired two rooms at the Ganolfan. One room will be set with a couple of model railway layouts and Emma will be there selling her amazing cakes. We have 5 speakers planned throughout the day and an opportunity to see part of the Ffestiniog Story video as told by Alan Pegler, James Boyd, Len Humphrys and Allan Garraway. You are welcome to come and go as you wish. We are also encouraging passing members of the public both holiday makers and locals to pop in too. This is an opportunity for all of us to share why joining the Society is a good idea!

Boston Lodge Tours.* There will be an opportunity to meet some of the volunteers working on Society funded projects. Dave High, Patrick Booth and Carwyn Coates will be at Boston Lodge so you will have chance to see their projects and ask questions.
Port Box Tours.* Small groups of Members will be able to access Port Box with a guide to understand how it works.

Porthmadog walking tours.*
Peter Dennis and Howard Bowcott will be offering tours of Porthmadog both very different! Peter will be explaining the slate quays and the history of the port. Howard will be explaining his sculptures which are around Porthmadog.
