Linda has been out of traffic for part of 2017 whilst attention was given to the bottom motion and fitting of a new pony truck.
Blanche, meanwhile, was withdrawn from traffic over the weekend of May Bank Holiday 2016 for the obligatory ten-year overhaul. Reassembly was progressing over the Summer and Blanche was ready for testing in November.
The two sisters were reunited for the Christmas week trains, commencing Boxing Day, handling 8-carr trains each day. Including, on 29th December, when the weather conditions were somewhat wintry.
The Ladies will be playing a key role in celebrations next year with the announced Hunslet 125 event to be held in June, where they celebrate their 125th birthday.
