Footplate rides on one of our Ffestiniog steam locomotives.
Tan y Bwlch Station:
Family menus and activities at Tan y Bwlch cafe. Young kids’ play area
Plas Tan y Bwlch Easter Activities:
Walk through the woodlands from Tan y Bwlch Station, or situated on A487 between Penrhyndeudraeth and Maentwrog. Unless stated, pay on the day at Plas Tan y Bwlch.

Travel to Tan y Bwlch station from Porthmadog or Blaenau Ffestiniog by train where you will be met by your guide.

Book your seats on the 1545 from Porthmadog and order your food in advance.
Your supper will be served on the 1715 train back from Blaenau Ffestiniog thanks to the enthusiastic staff from Ian’s Chippy.

Beddgelert Station:
Foot plate rides on our ‘big diesel’ ‘Castell Caernarfon. This is a rare chance to climb up high and get a view from the cab while you ride from end to end of the station. Visit the marquee beside the booking office. The Ladies from Beddgelert Church will be offering tea & cakes. There will be colouring to do and a model train set to play with.

Real Ale and Cider Festival 28th March to 11th April – Food served all day from 1100. Family room and Children’s play area.

Glaslyn Wildlife at Pont Croesor Halt
Open daily 10am to 5pm. Watch the local ospreys on the webcam and look out for other birds and wildlife along the riverbank.
