With the 60th anniversary of the first steam trains in the preservation era of the Ffestiniog Railway, Prince was back in service to commemorate those early trips on Monday 3rd August.
This time the loadings were much heavier so Prince was assisted by Taliesin on the eleven carr trains. Linda performed the assistant role on Wednesday 5th August.
Prince was bedecked with flags as it was 60 years ago and both locos looked resplendent following a recent revarnish (Prince) and repaint (Taliesin).
