Down in Minffordd Yard stands the goods shed. This shed appears in photos as long ago as 1887 and, since restoration days, has been in use as the headquarters for the Permanent Way department.
Supplemented by a tin shed behind, the area has been in focus in conjunction with the new Waggon Tracks shed in Minffordd Yard.
The goods shed is now subject to its own quite extensive renovation, including complete reroofing and substantial repairs to the original walls.
