Over the weekend of 15/16 October the lineside management team were doing some clearance work around Tan y Bwlch.
With work carried out at Creuau Bank the view of the embankment was opened out again.
The Permanent Way train can be seen in the background as the brances are cleared away.
One attraction on Saturday was the running of two gravity trains, which passed the work site.
The gravity train was hauled up by Merddin Emrys, newly restored to traffic. The opportunity was taken to get some scenes next to fellow double engine David Lloyd George.
And David Lloyd George heads off towards Blaenau Ffestiniog with the service train.
