There is just under a month until the highly anticipated 70th anniversary of the reopening of the Ffestiniog Railway after nine years of closure.
Coinciding with the Railway 200 celebrations the extensive event is to feature cameos of the early days with Prince returning to traffic in green livery following overhaul. The weekend culminates in the 200 Wheels on the Cob lineup featuring as many locos as the railway can muster. This unique sight is not to be missed.
