Major relaying work has been underway at Minffordd since the cessation of services on New Year’s Day.
Staff, volunteers and Network Rail apprentices have been installing new points and point motors and new track from the station as far as Lottie’s Crossing.
The Ffestiniog Railway Society made available a grant of £57,000 to assist with this work.
